Bayer Leverkusen ‘to finalise’ Miguel Gutiérrez deal after Grimaldo exit

Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on Napoli left-back Miguel Gutiérrez as they move to address the vacancy at left-back.

Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano report that Napoli have accepted Leverkusen’s offer, a €30 million package including bonuses.

Alejandro Grimaldo has joined Atlético Madrid for around €22 million.

Gutiérrez, a Spaniard, made 36 appearances for Napoli in the 2025/26 season, recording one goal and one assist.

Leverkusen are also expected to bolster the right flank, with KRC Genk right-back Zakaria El Ouahdi reportedly among the options under consideration.
