There are further positive signs from the FC Bayern hospital: Konrad Laimer and Raphael Guerreiro are working intensively on their return and could soon be available to the record champions again
As reported by Sky, both completed a joint session on the training pitch at Säbener Straße on Monday. The goal is therefore clearly defined: both should return to team training in a few days. If there are no setbacks, they could soon become options for coach Vincent Kompany again
Laimer suffered a torn muscle fibre in his left calf during the 3-1 win in Cologne and was out of action for several weeks. He has already made initial progress recently and is back training with the ball. Now the next step on the way back to match action follows
Guerreiro is also about to make his comeback. The Portuguese has been struggling with a calf strain and has been out of action. His return would give the Bayern coach additional options on the left and in midfield, where Guerreiro can be deployed flexibly
In view of the upcoming tasks in the Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Champions League, the positive development comes at the right time. A broader squad is essential for FC Bayern to remain competitive in several competitions

Should Laimer and Guerreiro return to team training as planned, Kompany should have more leeway in terms of rotation and tactical alignment in the coming weeks. The next few days will show whether both can make the final step back into match action without any problems
FC Bayern next face TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga next Sunday, followed by the cup tie against RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
