Bayern defender told to look for new club

After two years at Bayern Munich, Hiroki Ito could be on the move this summer.

According to Bild, Bayern are looking to offload the Japanese defender and have told his representatives to start looking for a new club.

The Bavarians are understood to be willing to sell for around €20 million, with La Liga in Spain mentioned as an attractive destination for Ito.

Bayern paid €23.5 million to sign the Japanese international from VfB Stuttgart in 2024.

Since then, he has made a total of 31 appearances during an injury-plagued spell with the Bavarians.
