Speculation surrounding Michael Olise and Real Madrid shows no signs of abating. Internally, however, FC Bayern remains calm—even though those at Säbener Straße are well aware that Real Madrid could become a factor in the long term.
Michael Olise is one of the most important players on FC Bayern’s roster—and that’s exactly how it’s supposed to stay in the future. Despite recent reports from the French newspaper L’Équipe claiming that the star forward is dreaming of a move to Real Madrid, the record champions’ leadership apparently sees no cause for concern at this time.
As Sky reports, the matter was discussed again internally on Thursday. The outcome was clear: All decision-makers—including honorary president Uli Hoeneß—are united in their support for the club’s current stance. Olise remains considered unsellable.
While the Munich club is aware that Real Madrid could eventually become an attractive option for a player like Olise, they make no secret of this internally. At the moment, however, this scenario is not a factor.
The French international’s contract runs through 2029 and contains no buyout clause. According to information from Sky, Bayern even wants to secure the attacking player’s long-term commitment and is preparing a contract extension. Under this plan, the club would be willing to make Olise one of the three highest-paid players on the roster in the future.
Club officials are currently relying on two factors in particular. First, FC Bayern continues to trust the assurance given by Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez. He is said to have personally signaled to the Munich club that the “Royals” will neither court Olise nor seek a transfer this summer. Given the excellent relationship between the two clubs, Bayern places great trust in this statement.

Second, the Munich club is relying on signals from the player’s immediate circle. During the World Cup, Olise and his advisors reportedly made it clear to FC Bayern that they have no plans to move and wish to continue on their current path in Munich.
To date, neither the 24-year-old nor his management has expressed a desire to leave to club officials. Therefore, the stance at Säbener Straße remains clear: FC Bayern is 100 percent counting on Michael Olise—and all doors for a departure remain closed this summer.
