FC Bayern have been keeping an eye on Hertha BSC’s Kennet Eichhorn for some time now, but the Munich club are facing increasing competition from abroad in their bid to sign the talented German midfielder
As BILD reporter Christian Falk reports, Manchester United and FC Arsenal are now also intensively involved with the 16-year-old. In view of this financially strong competition, the German record champions have apparently stepped up their efforts to sign Eichhorn
According to the report, those responsible at Bayern are critical of a possible move to England. Internally, the assumption in Munich is that a talent like Eichhorn would be available again later if he moved within the Bundesliga
However, should the 16-year-old move to the Premier League early on, a later transfer to Germany could become much more complicated
For this reason, Bayern are said to be prepared to make a serious move as early as next summer. According to Falk, the player’s entourage have already discussed the matter. However, the record champions have not yet made an official offer

Eichhorn is still under contract with Hertha BSC until 2029, but apparently has an exit clause, which would allow the talented attacking player to leave the Berlin club for a transfer fee of between ten and twelve million euros
In addition to FC Bayern and the two top English clubs, several other clubs have also been linked with the teenager, with Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid reportedly keeping a close eye on the midfielder’s development
According to Sport BILD, Eichhorn is already considering a possible next step in his career, with the young midfielder reportedly planning to take the next step at the highest level in the summer
For Hertha BSC, an early departure of the top talent would be a bitter setback. Internally, those responsible had high hopes of keeping Eichhorn in Berlin in the long term and developing him into an important part of the club’s future
Whether FC Bayern can ultimately prevail against the high-calibre competition is likely to be decided in the coming months. One thing is clear: the pressure on Munich is increasing noticeably in the race for the Hertha jewel.
