Bayern Munich are interested in signing Inter Milan centre-back Yann Bisseck.
The 25-year-old centre-back joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, and has a contract at San Siro until 2029.
Bisseck has made over 100 appearances for Inter, and has scored eight goals for them.
In 2025-26 season, the German centre-back made 23 appearances in the Serie A, starting in 21 of them, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
Christian Falk has informed CFBayern Insider that Bayern love adding more German players to their squad.
The Bavarian giants are always on the lookout of adding more German players, and it is their first preference as well during recruitment.
The German champions have received signs from Bisseck’s side that the player would love to join Bayern at some point in the future.
The Bild journalist further adds that Bayern have already made contact with Inter to know about the defender’s potential transfer fee.
However, any potential move can only take place if Bayern sell a few defenders.
Falk explained: “Bayern Munich’s preference is to always go for the German guy where applicable. They love having German players in the squad. They want to be the German Bavarian national team!
“They have a sign from Yann Bisseck’s side that he would love to play for Bayern in the future. FC Bayern already made a call to Inter Milan to ask about the potential fee. So, you see, there is something in the air, but they have to first sell. So let’s see what happens with Min-jae Kim first.”
The problem for Bayern is that there are not many suitors who are actively looking to sign players who they can offload.
Kim Min-Jae and Hiroki Ito are both playing in the World Cup, and if they enjoy a brilliant tournament, Bayern are demand a high transfer fees for them.
Manchester United are thought to be interested in Min-jae, but there has not been any concrete approach made to sign him as yet.
