Bayern Munich resumed their 2025-26 Bundesliga campaign last week with an 8-1 win over Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena.
Michael Olise scored twice, while Harry Kane, Leon Goretzka, Luis Diaz and Raphael Guerreiro also found the net as they picked up all three points.
With this victory, Bayern have recorded 14 wins and two draws and top the Bundesliga table with 44 points, 11 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern are likely to be without Joshua Kimmich for their next game as well.
Kimmich picked up an ankle injury and could not train ahead of Bayern’s clash against Heidenheim before the winter break.
He missed the clash against Wolfsburg, although the pair of Tom Bischof and Aleksandar Pavlovic did extremely well.
Christian Falk has informed CFBayern that Kimmich will miss the next game because he is not yet fully fit. However, he is not far from returning to action.
Kimmich completed an individual training session today with head of rehab Benjamin Sommer and trained at full pace.
Vincent Kompany could soon be getting a fully fit squad at his disposal, especially when Jamal Musiala will be ready to take the field.
Alphonso Davies is currently missing due to illness, while Sacha Boey is also absent.
There are suggestions that Boey could leave the club during the January transfer window, but as of now, no club has made an offer.
Bayern have plenty of depth and quality in their full-back areas, and Boey has fallen down the pecking order at the club.
