Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has struggled badly this season.
The Blues striker fell out of favour with former manager Enzo Maresca and secured a move to Bayern Munich on loan on transfer deadline day.
The move was far from perfect. Chelsea cancelled the deal after reaching an agreement, but the striker (and his agent) were adamant about joining Bayern.

While Bayern have an obligation to sign Jackson permanently next summer, only if certain conditions are met.
They have paid around €13.5 m to secure his services. However, in order for Jackson to complete the move, he needs to start 40 games across all competitions.
With Harry Kane around, a direct move from Chelsea to Bayern was never going to materialise.
Jackson has managed only five starts in the Bundesliga, and a further 10 appearances have come from the bench, scoring three goals.
The 24-year-old striker has made two starts in the Champions League, and a further four appearances have come from the bench, scoring two goals and registering an assist.
Christian Falk has told CFBayern that Jackson is ‘frustrated’ with his current situation, as the striker has been ignored by Vincent Kompany even when Bayern are leading.
Bayern have decided internally not to sign him permanently (including the possibility of negotiating independently), as he has failed to convince.
Jackson has no future at the German club, and it remains to be seen whether Chelsea find a way to integrate him again into their squad.
The former Villarreal striker has a long-term contract at Chelsea, and with Maresca gone, Jackson could try to impress the new boss in pre-season training and resurrect his career.
We are told that clubs in the Saudi Pro League are interested in Jackson, but whether he will join them at this stage of his career remains to be seen.
