Bayern Munich 5-0 Bodø/Glimt: Olise brace caps five-goal second-half rout | OneFootball

Bayern Munich scored five times after the break to beat Bodø/Glimt 5-0 at the Allianz Arena and begin their UEFA Champions League campaign with a convincing victory.

Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala broke the deadlock in the 47th minute before striker Harry Kane doubled the lead. Alphonso Davies added a third with a powerful long-range strike, while winger Michael Olise scored twice in the closing stages. Bodø/Glimt defender Odin Lurås Bjørtuft was also sent off three minutes from time.

Bayern controlled most of the first half but were repeatedly denied by Bodø/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin. He stopped Luis Díaz from close range early on before making further saves from Musiala and Joshua Kimmich, while Kimmich also struck the post from 25 yards.

Haikin was unable to continue after the interval and was replaced by Julian Faye Lund. Bayern took advantage almost immediately, with Musiala scoring just 78 seconds into the second half after Kane’s effort ricocheted into his path.

Kane made it 2-0 in the 61st minute. Olise delivered a free-kick from the right and the England captain met it with a header that directed the ball beyond Lund.

Bodø/Glimt briefly threatened when Andreas Helmersen tried to catch Manuel Neuer off his line from near halfway, but the striker’s effort drifted wide. Bayern then added their third in the 77th minute when Davies met a partial clearance on the edge of the area and drove a left-footed strike into the far corner.

Olise scored Bayern’s fourth six minutes later. Substitute Lennart Karl, who had replaced Díaz, found the French winger around 25 yards from goal, and Olise curled a left-footed shot beyond Lund into the far corner.

Bodø/Glimt’s evening worsened in the 87th minute when Bjørtuft was shown a straight red card for clipping Olise as the winger chased a through ball just outside the area.

Olise completed the scoring in stoppage time after pouncing on loose possession and driving towards the area before curling another left-footed effort past Lund to make it 5-0.
