Bayern Munich have announced the departure of Daley Blind. The 33-year-old joined the German champions from Ajax in January. Julian Nagelsmann was head coach at the time and decided to bring the experienced Dutch defender to the Allianz Arena. Three months after Blind’s arrival, the German head coach was sacked and succeeded by Thomas Tuchel.

After making just five appearances for Bayern Munich totalling 157 minutes worth of football, Daley Blind is now without a club. The former Manchester United man can look for a new employer. Recently it was reported that Spanish La Liga side Girona, were interested in Blind, but no move has been made for the 101-time Netherlands international.
