“Nathaniel Brown has a profile that is very much in demand in modern football. He’s developed really well recently with his speed and dynamism, and we all believe that he’s an excellent fit for FC Bayern," said FC Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen.

"We want to take the next step together, and this transfer also underlines our aspiration to bring top young German players to FC Bayern early. That’s always been a part of our DNA and should remain the case in the future.”

Brown commented:

“FC Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world. It means so much to me to have the chance to play for this club and it fills me with pride. I also come from Bavaria, which makes it even more special.

“I’ve always dreamed of playing for the biggest titles at the highest level; I set myself the highest goals and want to get the maximum out of me every day. I quickly had a great feeling in talks with the management. Vincent Kompany in particular showed me how he sees me and my development and absolutely convinced me.”

Brown made 75 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists.

The 23-year-old has also earned eight caps for the German senior national team.
