Reports suggest that Bayern Munich could be interested in signing Arsenal‘s Oleksandr Zinchenko as a potential replacement for Alphonso Davies, who is linked with a move to Real Madrid.

According to FootballTransfers, Bayern sees Zinchenko as a strong option to fill the left-back position.

Arsenal are reportedly open to a transfer and have set an asking price of €45 million. This reflects Zinchenko’s importance to the squad and his contributions to their current Premier League title challenge.

Additionally, Newcastle United is also rumoured to be interested in the Ukrainian international who is currently valued at €42m and under contract until 2026.

Still only 27, Arsenal will have to make a decision this summer as he enters the final two years of that deal – offer him a new one or cash in.

While Zinchenko’s arrival in 2022 for €35m was seen as a massive coup, his injury problems have disrupted his time at Arsenal. In addition, his inattention on the pitch at times has come in for criticism from some fans.

With Arsenal reportedly also open to offers for Gabriel Jesus, who arrived from City the same summer as Zinchenko, you can see just how much Arsenal have improved in the last 24 months that they have already outgrown the two players who were signed to take Arsenal up a level.
