Alphonso Davies is one of Real Madrid’s top targets as the club desperately look to shore up their ranks in the defensive unit next summer.
Davies’ contract situation at Bayern Munich has made him an attractive option for Real Madrid, with his deal in Bavaria expiring at the end of the season.
That means Davies could be available as a free agent and would thus be able to sign a pre-contract agreement in the upcoming January transfer window.
Bayern Munich have tried their best in trying to convince Davies to sign a new deal and prolong his stay in Bavaria, much thanks to the insistence of coach Vincent Kompany.
But the defender has been apprehensive about renewing his deal at Bayern. To that end, a recent report from Sport BILD (h/t Diario SPORT) suggests Bayern have tabled their final offer for Davies.

The German giants have significantly improved their salary offering, hoping it will be enough to convince Davies.
At the same time, Bayern have issued an ultimatum to the Canadian international, urging him to respond quickly.
The report adds that Davies is unlikely to listen to Bayern Munich’s offer and would, therefore, start considering offers from other clubs.
This could serve as a major boost for Real Madrid, as they look to convince the young left-back to make the move to Santiago Bernabeu.
Signing Davies on a free transfer next summer could prove to be a major coup for the reigning European champions, who have lacked numbers in defence.
Although interest from Barcelona could complicate things, Real Madrid remain hopeful of securing the services of Davies.
