Bayern Munich join Barcelona in the race for Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich are interested in Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani as an option for a striker. 

The Rekordmeister are looking for a backup option for Harry Kane, and while Nicolas Jackson is currently on loan at the club, it is unlikely he will stay, so Bayern are now looking for an alternative. 

Asllani is an option for the league leaders as a backup to the Englishman. The Kosovo striker is currently Hoffenheim’s top scorer this season with five goals in the Bundesliga. 

Despite extending his contract in the summer until 2029, there is a release clause in Asllani’s deal, and he is already planning to leave the club in the summer.

However, Barcelona have been linked with Asllani in recent weeks as they look to replace Robert Lewandowski.
