Bayern Munich linked with £100m Sunderland double swoop as Florent Ghisolfi faces summer calls | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have been linked with a double Sunderland move for Brian Brobbey and Robin Roefs ahead of the summer window. Both joined last summer and impressed in the club’s first season back in the Premier League.

According to Sunderland Echo, Bayern have monitored Brobbey and placed Roefs on their long-term goalkeeping radar.

Both Dutchmen are on long-term contracts, strengthening Sunderland’s stance. Roefs is valued around £60million, while Brobbey is understood to be in the £40million to £50million range.

Brobbey arrived from Ajax for about £17.3million, potentially rising to roughly £21.6million, and has scored six goals in 25 appearances. His physical presence and movement have been key. The 24-year-old has previously attracted Arsenal’s interest and is expected to be in the Netherlands World Cup squad.

Roefs has become Sunderland’s number one after a standout campaign. Bayern are believed to be eyeing a long-term successor to Manuel Neuer and also admire Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, while Chelsea have been linked with Roefs.

Sunderland are under no pressure to sell. Their data-led model, often compared with Brighton’s, targets high-upside players who can grow in value.

Both have increased their worth since signing. A combined deal could push towards £100million if Sunderland choose to sell, though there is no pressure, and any firm bids would hand sporting director Florent Ghisolfi significant decisions.
