Bayern Munich have confirmed that midfielder Sarah Zadrazil has signed a new contract extension, keeping her at the club until 2026.
The 29-year-old has been at Bayern since 2020 when she arrived from Turbine Potsdam, winning the league in her first season at the club.
Speaking to the club’s official website after putting pen to paper, the Austrian said: “I’m just happy that I can continue to be a part of this team and of this club.
“On the one hand, I believe that we still have a lot of potential in sport and high goals that we want to achieve. On the other hand, I just feel extremely comfortable in Munich.
“The girls and our team spirit are unique and Munich has become our second home. So it was clear to me that I wanted to stay longer.”
Zadrazil has over 100 caps for her country.
