Bild reports that Bayern Munich are optimistic that they can complete a deal soon for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.
The Bundesliga side has set itself a limit of €85m, and the threshold price is €75m. To try and satisfy the demands of Liverpool, Bayern are considering various ways to meet their demands.
One way is to add a sell-on clause. This would mean if Diaz were sold to Saudi Arabia in the future, then Liverpool will receive a percentage of the future fee.
Bayern remain optimistic that they can complete a deal for the Colombian within the next seven to 10 days.
Diaz is the Bundesliga sides’ main target this summer after they temporarily cooled their interest in VfB Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade, due to the Swabian’s stubbornness when it comes to negotiating a deal for the 23-year-old.
The Bundesliga champions have also been linked with a move to Xavi Simons in recent weeks, but he will also cost a large amount of money.
