Bayern Munich plan to begin talks to extend Michael Olise contract, but… | OneFootball

Bayern Munich are expected to begin negotiations with Michael Olise’s (24) representatives shortly to discuss a potential contract extension, according to reports in Sport Bild.

Currently under contract with the reigning German champions until 2029, the French winger could be offered a deal running until 2032, complete with a pay rise that would see him become one of the club’s highest-paid players. Should Olise reach an agreement with Bayern, he would even begin receiving his new salary as early as next summer.

However, negotiations with the former Crystal Palace player are expected to be particularly tense, as he is keen to include a release clause – potentially worth around €200m – in his future contract and remains a target for Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Having arrived in Munich two seasons ago, Olise has established himself as one of the best players in the world, scoring no fewer than 50 goals and providing 58 assists in 114 appearances across all competitions.
