Every summer, Real Madrid are linked with some of the very best players in the world, but the intensity of rumors surrounding them is particularly high this summer, mainly because they are looking to significantly bolster their team after the last two trophyless seasons.
The Merengues have already signed four new players, Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, David Silva, and Denzel Dumfries. For now, they are focusing on some departures, but are expected to sign even more players in the coming weeks, especially as Jose Mourinho wants another center-back and another midfielder.
Meanwhile, despite not being either a center-back or a midfielder, another player who continues to be linked with the white club is the Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. Real Madrid have already issued a public statement clarifying that they are not in negotiations with the Frenchman, but this has done little to stop rumors linking the forward with them.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have also made it clear that they would not entertain any offer for their star attacker, who remains a key part of their plans going forward. Their president, Herbert Hainer, was quite categorical in telling Florentino Perez to not entertain any hopes about signing Olise a few days ago.
However, as the links continue to sustain, Diario AS notes that the Bayern president talked to the German newspaper Abendzeitung, and once again made it clear that the French forward is not for sale:
“As I’ve already said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has that (an offer) in mind, he can save himself the effort because we do not want to sell Michael. As Bayern Munich, we have a very good relationship with Real Madrid and, as a result, they contacted me to say that, first of all, they have absolutely no contact with Michael Olise, and secondly, they do not want these constant speculations in the media.”
Other Bayern Munich officials, like Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, have also made it clear that Michael Olise is not for sale in recent weeks. Still, there is no doubt that he would be a great addition to this Real Madrid team, and with the player’s own reported desire to play in the white jersey, these rumors would not die down soon, unless .
