La Liga giants Barcelona are being increasingly pressured to make a definitive call regarding the future of Marcus Rashford with the club.

This comes amid the understanding that another of European football’s leading clubs, namely Bayern Munich, have positioned themselves in the hunt for the Englishman.

Attacker Rashford of course spent this past season plying his trade on loan in Catalunya’s capital, from Manchester United.

The 28-year-old went on to enjoy a productive stint in Barcelona colours, racking up 28 direct goal contributions in 49 appearances across all competitions.

And yet, to date, the brass at the Camp Nou have not made a final call on activating their option to make Rashford’s signing permanent.

As much has opened the door to rival suitors, one of whom come in the form of the aforementioned Bayern Munich.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing sources in Germany, the board at the Allianz Arena are currently scouring the market for reinforcements out wide.

And on a long list of names, that of Rashford has been underlined in red.

Barcelona will therefore soon need to make a call, or risk being outbid by the club who were also pushing to bring in Anthony Gordon prior to his recent Blaugrana switch.
