On a day when Real Madrid fell to a dismal 2-1 loss to RCD Mallorca in La Liga, their next opponents, Bayern Munich, pulled off a brilliant comeback 3-2 win over SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga.

The German champions travel to Spain next week as they take on Los Blancos in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. And, they warmed up for the game with a sensational comeback win at Freiburg.

Trailing 2-0, Bayern found the back of the net through young Tom Bischof in the 81st minute, before he made it 2-2 two minutes into stoppage time.

The stage was then set for young Lennart Karl to clinch the victory for the Bavarians in dramatic fashion nine minutes into stoppage time.

Lennart Karl warns Real Madrid

Speaking to the media after the game, Karl fired warning shots towards Real Madrid, claiming that the confidence and morale in the Bayern Munich camp was sky-high.

“We’ve talked in the locker room about how this victory gives us a lot of confidence for the game in Madrid,” the 18-year-old prodigy said, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

Going a step further, the German teenager insisted that Bayern were feeling ‘unbeatable’ after the comeback win against Freiburg.

“It’s very important to have won. In fact, right now we feel unbeatable,” he stated.

Real Madrid will most certainly have their task cut out when they take on Vincent Kompany’s men on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.

Bayern Munich have been brilliant so far this season and have the ability to tear through this Real Madrid team if Alvaro Arbeloa’s team play the way they did today against Mallorca.
