Bayern Munich have reached a new agreement with Chelsea to sign Nicolas Jackson (24), according to Fabrizio Romano. It brings an end to the series of events that yo-yoed back-and-forth, seeing the move off then on again, numerous times.
Now though, it would appear that all parties have reached a total agreement. Romano reports that Bayern Munich will pay an initial loan fee of €16.5m, an increase of €1.5m, while there is a ‘new element of obligation to buy included in the deal for 2026’ – it’s not reported how much that mandatory clause is, but Jackson has agreed a five-year deal.
Speaking exclusively to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Ali Barat – Jackson’s agent – said: “The deal was off yesterday evening. Since today, the clubs are negotiating again. We hope for a solution, because Nicolas Jackson is ready for FC Bayern. We are fighting until the end for this deal.” After the move collapsed last night, less than an hour after Plettenberg’s new information on Monday afternoon, Romano reported that Bayern Munich had reached a new agreement.
Jackson remained in Munich and with just hours of the transfer window remaining, Bayern look to have acquired their new signing.
