Sport Bild reports that Bayern Munich talent Maurice Krattenmacher is on the verge of being loaned out to Hertha BSC. The 19-year-old – a surprise addition to Bayern’s Club World Cup squad – will receive another chance to hone his skills in the 2. Bundesliga. Krattenmacher turned in a strong season on loan at SSV Ulm in the second division last year.

The German tabloid reports that Krattenmacher has already departed Bayern’s CWC camp in the USA to complete the move. The attacking midfielder did not end up featuring in the competition despite making FCB head coach Vincent Kompany’s matchday squad in two of the three group stage fixtures.

Krattenmacher will count as the second Bayern prospect parked elsewhere in Germany on loan this summer. Not long after rumors began surfacing earlier this week, Arijon Ibrahimovic’s loan out to FC Heidenheim was officially confirmed.

Bayern already loaned two players (Paul Wanner and Frans Krätzig) out to Heidenheim last season. Current Heidenheim midfielder Niklas Dorsch also came up through the Heidenheim ranks.

FCH CEO Holger Sanwald took note of the now regular FCH-FCB partnership in his statement accompanying the Ibrahimovic signing.

With Niklas Dorsch and – more recently – Paul Wanner and Frans Krätzig, we have already had very good experiences with young players from FC Bayern in the past,” Sanwald said on Thursday. “We are delighted that Arijon Ibrahimovic, the record champions’ next top talent, has now chosen us.

Arijon already proved himself in Italy at the age of 17 and gained valuable experience in Serie A,Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund added. “Now the next important step in his development is the Bundesliga. He has everything it takes to make it and will gain further playing experience at a high level.
