According to Florian Plettenberg, Yusuf Kabadayi will join Schalke 04 from Bayern Munich on a one-year loan with an option to buy.
The 19-year-old is highly rated by Bayern and will gain valuable experience in the 2. Bundesliga with the royal blues.
Kabadayi completed his medical with Schalke on Wednesday and is expected to finalise his move on Thursday.
Though there is an option to buy clause within the deal, the German-Turkish national has just extended his contract with Bayern until 2025. This could add further value to a potential transfer should Schalke wish to buy Kabadayi.
The winger is a product of Bayern’s academy and has been playing Bayern II in the Regionalliga Bayern for the last year. The youngster will now take the step up and gain experience playing with a top team in Germany’s second division.
Schalke lost their opening game of the season last weekend away at Hamburg.
