Bayern Munich faces FC Heidenheim in Bundesliga action this Sunday.
The league leaders aim to build on their strong campaign start by exploiting Heidenheim’s porous backline, which hasn’t managed a clean sheet in any league game yet.
Bayern hold an unbeaten record in the Bundesliga after a tough stalemate against Mainz last time out. Kompany’s squad found it hard to pierce a stubborn back four and now seeks a strong response ahead of the festive pause.
The Allianz Arena outfit has dominated much of the term, led by Kane’s ongoing goal rush, and eyes a commanding display to finish the calendar year 2025.
Kompany faces mounting selection headaches before the hiatus. Skipper Neuer sits out a slight knock, paving the way for Urbig between the posts. Kimmich (ankle issue) and Musiala (leg fracture) represent major blows, with Laimer banned following his fifth booking versus Mainz.
Kim Min-jae is sidelined too, alongside Sacha Boey who’s battling sickness and unlikely to make it.
Jackson, the summer loanee from Chelsea, has left for Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations duties and skips this away day. On a brighter note, Diaz is back from his ban, and Olise returns post-minor operation, injecting flair up top.
Possible Bayern Munich starting XI: Urbig; Stanisic, Upamecano, Tah, Bischof; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Karl, Diaz; Kane.
The match will kick off at 4:30pm BST on Sunday, 21st December.
Fans in the UK can catch the action on Sky Sports, while DAZN covers Bundesliga fixtures across select areas.
