Bayern Plan Lucrative New Deal to Keep Star Winger Until 2031
Bayern Munich are moving quickly to secure the future of French winger Michael Olise aiming to extend his contract despite its current expiry in 2029.
Olise's emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s brightest stars since his 53m euro move from Crystal Palace last summer.
He scored 20 goal and delivered 23 assist in 55 appearances helping Bayern reclaim the league title.
The 23 year old's carried that form into the current campaign, with 5 goal and 6 assist in just 9 match.
His performances have drawn strong interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Man City and Paris Saint Germain.
According to Sport Bild, Bayern want to extend Olise’s deal until 2031 and raise his salary from 12m euro to €16m per year.
The club’s leadership sees him as long term cornerstone.
Sporting director Max Eberl praised the Frenchman calling him "a player fans come to see" & "a decisive factor in Bayern’s future"
Club president Herbert Hainer added that Olise has become "the new face of Bayern Munich" and expressed hope he will stay for many years.
