Schlotterbeck is interested in the potential offer coming from Liverpool F.C..
This comes at a time when the Reds are reacting to the long-term injury to Giovanni Leoni and fears Ibrahima Konate could depart on a free when his contract runs out next summer.

There should soon be contact. He already has a contract offer (until the summer of 2030) on the table from Dortmund.
However, if he accepts, he would just earn about €8m [£6.9m] gross – about €2.5m more than what he’s currently earning at BVB, and he’s not satisfied with this!
That’s also because his teammate, Niklas Süle, is earning €14m [£12.1m] all in all, and he’s on the bench.

So, with that in mind, Nico Schlotterbeck is open to offers!
The future looks bright, both competitively and financially, for Schlotterbeck were he to agree a potential switch to Liverpool in an upcoming transfer window.
With Virgil van Dijk one of the highest-paid defenders in world football, the Reds can evidence the fact that they will reward a top defensive performer.
Bayern, for what it’s worth, can also point to the fact that both Alphonso Davies (€15m [£12.9m]) and Jonathan Tah (€12m [£10.3m]) are well-compensated with their base salaries.

FC Bayern Munich are not yet at the table. However, they could soon throw their hat into the ring should Dayot Upamecano clearly signal that he won’t sign a new contract and they don’t manage to get Marc Guehi.
So, you see, these are three defenders that Arne Slot’s Merseysiders also have an interest in.
Liverpool are looking at Schlotterbeck right now, and otherwise, the candidates remain the same for the Bundesliga champions and Real Madrid.
So, it’s getting interesting.
