Bayern Munich are heading into a new era under Vincent Kompany’s leadership, and a couple of high-profile players could leave the club this summer.

Joshua Kimmich is the latest star linked with a summer exit from the Allianz Arena, although his long-term future will likely be decided after the ongoing European Championship.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Bayern have set Kimmich’s asking price at around €40 million, and several Premier League giants have been alerted to his availability.

Kimmich is entering the final year of his contract with the German juggernauts, and there hasn’t been any tangible progress regarding an extension.

Bayern are open to selling the German international this summer rather than losing a player of his calibre on a free transfer at the end of next season, and several clubs are lining up to sign him.

Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in Kimmich and are closely monitoring his situation.

Barcelona also have a long-standing interest in Kimmich, but they will have to sell a high-profile star to make room for him.

After nearly a decade in Bavaria, Kimmich could be set for a new adventure abroad and everything points to a Premier League move.

Arsenal are keen to bolster their midfield ranks, with Thomas Partey poised to leave the club this summer.

They have been linked with a move for Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes, but they wouldn’t want to pass on the chance to sign Kimmich, who could be a game-changing acquisition for the title-chasing Gunners.

Pep Guardiola wants an experienced figure to partner Rodri at the base of Man City’s midfield, and Kimmich ticks that box.

Liverpool are in the market for a defensive midfielder to complement Wataru Endo.
