Sacha Boey is experiencing a sporting high at FC Bayern – and could still move in the winter. Asconfirmed in the latest „Bayern Insider“ podcast from BILD , the French right-back is on the list of potential sales candidates.
„That’s true. Boey would have been allowed to leave in the summer – and Bayern are also willing to talk in the winter,“ explains BILD chief reporter Tobi Altschäffl. This brings a scenario into focus that seemed unlikely just a few weeks ago.
Boey has gained stability in recent weeks, impressing with his performances and presenting himself much more confidently than at the start of the season.
Nevertheless, his position at FC Bayern is not as secure as his performances suggest. The club is satisfied – but not completely convinced. „He has stabilized, yes. But Bayern are still open to inquiries,“ emphasizes BILD head of soccer Christian Falk.

One key reason is of an economic nature. Boey moved to Munich from Istanbul in the winter of 2024 for around 30 million euros. His market value has risen again after his recent performances – and at the same time, the club is still on the lookout for right-back profiles that could fit better into Kompany’s system.
Munich have already found a suitable candidate in Givairo Read, the 19-year-old Dutchman from Feyenoord Rotterdam, who is high on Bayern’s wish list for the summer of 2026.
In plain language, this means that Boey could leave the club in the winter if a suitable offer is made: „Bayern would do it if the price is right,“ says Altschäffl.
There were already loose inquiries from England, Italy and France in the summer. This trail could now heat up again. The Premier League in particular is considered a realistic market, because Boey is valued there for his athleticism, aggression and hard tackling.
The 25-year-old himself basically feels at home in Munich, but is also open to new challenges if his sporting prospects do not improve fundamentally.
