Bayern Munich have refused to make assurances over Michael Olise’s long-term future.
"Making promises in this business is a delicate matter. Whether we can keep him permanently is something we will discuss again in the summer," said Bayern executive Jan-Christian Dreesen. He told Sport1 Doppelpass.
Olise is under contract until 2029, and despite his status as a key figure, a departure has not been ruled out.
The French winger drew links with Real Madrid, PSG and Liverpool in the last window, though Bayern shut the door on a sale.
"We did not have any offers on the table. And we always said we were not interested. That is exactly our position," Dreesen added.
"The rumours that he had dozens of offers on the table are nonsense. It simply was not true. That is why I say it publicly."
"Olise is incredibly important for this team. He is a magician in this field," he concluded.
