Bayern Munich have yet to make an official offer for Nick Woltemade, with their valuation of the striker still far apart from Stuttgart’s.

According to Sky Germany, Stuttgart boss Alexander Wehrle has held numerous phone calls with Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen but has so far declined a personal meeting to discuss the transfer due to the price gap.

The report claims Stuttgart want negotiations to start at €80 million, while Bayern are unwilling to pay more than €50 million, creating a difficult foundation for the talks.

Woltemade joined Stuttgart on a free transfer last summer. He scored 17 goals in 33 appearances during his debut season for the Swabians and made his senior international debut for Germany in June.

He later helped Germany reach the final of the U21 European Championship, where they lost 3-2 to England, finishing as the tournament’s top scorer with four goals.
