Bayern’s Serge Gnabry and Lennart Karl ‘miss’ final training ahead of Augsburg | OneFootball

Bayern may be without Serge Gnabry and Lennart Karl against Augsburg on Saturday after the pair missed the final training session.

Bild reports that both attackers sat out the last workout before the Bundesliga fixture.

Vincent Kompany confirmed Dayot Upamecano is unavailable due to illness. He said he fears a virus could spread in the dressing room and hopes nobody else is sidelined.

It remains unclear whether Gnabry and Karl are ill, but their absence from the final session makes them appear unlikely to feature.

If they miss out, Raphael Guerreiro could be used in a central attacking midfield role. Alternatively, Harry Kane could drop deeper with Nicolas Jackson leading the line.

Alphonso Davies, who can play left-back or on the left wing, and Jamal Musiala are in the squad, though neither is expected to start as they work back towards top form after long lay-offs.
