Bayeux FC, a Régional 1 club, have been drawn against Olympique de Marseille in the Coupe de France last 32, a dream tie that thrilled president Luis Ferreira-Pavesi.

"We have drawn OM and I am happy for them, you saw, they had tears in their eyes. Even I am super happy," he told Ouest-France.

"It is just exceptional because it is Olympique de Marseille. Everyone dreams of it. It is a great Christmas present for everyone, we are delighted."

The Bayeux contingent gathered to watch the draw live and erupted when the tie was announced.
