Bednarek learns scan results after Supertaça injury, out for around two weeks

Bednarek has received the results of his post-match scans after suffering a knee injury in the Supertaça.

He was injured during Porto's 1-0 win over Torreense on Saturday. According to O Jogo, follow-up tests were carried out afterwards.

Those examinations showed a grade I sprain of the medial ligament in his right knee, with no more serious damage detected.

The Poland international is expected to be out for around two weeks.

He will therefore miss the league opener against Alverca.
