Haaland’s hold up play was superb, and he subsequently brought Enzo Fernandez, Iliman Ndiaye, and Antoine Semenyo into the game with his link-up play. Erling Haaland’s performance up top in a team down to ten men was superb. He also got his reward in the 60th minute.

It was Erling Haaland’s smart finish that secured all three points for Manchester City against Manchester United. He ghosted at the back post to beat Senne Lammens with an exquisite piece of finishing which came from a Josko Gvardiol cross. Haaland’s goal was a fitting reward for his second half display. It also paved the way for an outpouring of emotion from Haaland and his teammates.
