Belén Aquino has moved joint-top of Corinthians’ 2026 assist chart after setting up two goals in the 6-2 win over Taubaté at Fazendinha in the Paulista.

According to Meu Timao, the Uruguayan now sits alongside Gabi Zanotti and Andressa Alves on eight assists this year. She began on the bench and was introduced after half-time.

Soon after coming on, she supplied Jhonson, then created another for Ariel Godoi.

Aquino joined at the start of the year at the request of then coach Lucas Piccinato. She was the only signing to involve an undisclosed fee, arriving from Internacional. Her contract runs until 31 December 2028.

Since her arrival, she has made 27 appearances, including 13 starts, scoring three and providing eight assists. Corinthians face Cruzeiro on Monday at 19:30 at Arena Independência in the first leg of the Brasileirão Feminino quarter-finals. The return is scheduled for 7 September, with the venue still to be confirmed by Timão.
