Belgium, winners of two of their three Nations League matches, face France at the Stade de France on Monday at 20:45, with Mark Van Bommel weighing up Leandro Trossard or Hans Vanaken for the left-sided midfield berth.
According to L'Équipe, Van Bommel will retain his 4-3-3 and most of his starters, with that selection the key remaining call.
If Trossard starts, he could move inside to support Charles De Ketelaere in possession.
If Vanaken gets the nod, he will wear the captain's armband. In defence, Joaquin Seys will replace Maxim De Cuyper at left-back.
Trossard returned on Friday against Türkiye in a 3-0 win, coming on in the 74th minute. Dodi Lukebakio should make a second consecutive start on the right wing.
