Belgium have unveiled their new away kit for the 2026 World Cup, paying tribute to René Magritte. The design aligns the national team with one of the country’s most famous surrealists.

The Belgian FA, URBSFA, presented the strip on Friday and said the design incorporates elements of its crest and football symbols such as a ball and pitch markings, intended, in the spirit of surrealism, to spark imagination and conversation.

The neckline reads "Ceci n'est pas un maillot", a direct nod to Magritte’s La Trahison des images. It underlines the theme behind the new look.

The launch continues Belgium’s recent tradition of themed kits, including tributes to Belgian cycling at Euro 2016, the Tomorrowland festival at the 2022 World Cup, and Tintin at Euro 2024.

The Red Devils will wear the shirt for the first time in the friendly against the United States on 28 March in Atlanta, with kick-off at 20:30.
