Real Madrid locked horns with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano earlier today as they looked to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.

Dean Huijsen was sent off by the referee in the 52nd minute. Alejandro Grimaldo scored the opener for Atletico from the penalty spot just a minute later. Jonathan David doubled his team’s advantage in the 59th minute. However, Antonio Rudiger got a goal back for the visitors in the 89th minute.
