Real Madrid fans finally got to see Endrick back in action as the teenage sensation made his first appearance under Xabi Alonso in the 4-0 victory over Valencia. 

The Brazilian came on in the closing stages to replace Kylian Mbappe, marking his first outing for Los Blancos since May 18th.

It has been a long wait for Endrick, who missed the FIFA Club World Cup and has spent months watching from the sidelines despite being fully fit. 

Yet on Saturday night, he was finally handed his moment – a 15-minute cameo that left a strong impression not just on the fans, but also on his teammates.

Jude Bellingham’s advice

After the final whistle, Jude Bellingham made a beeline for the youngster, offering words that perfectly captured the spirit within the dressing room. 

According to Defensa Central, the Englishman told him just how proud he was of the effort and courage Endrick showed in his brief spell on the pitch.

“You’ve shown us your dedication and commitment, brother. You made a great play, and if it hadn’t been for the foul…” said Bellingham in the tunnel.

That particular move saw Endrick bursting down the right flank, showcasing the same flair and hunger that made him one of Brazil’s most exciting prospects. 

While he did not find the net, his willingness to drive forward and take on defenders was exactly what fans had been waiting to see.

Mentor for the Brazilian

For what it is worth, Bellingham’s words were a reflection of a bond that goes beyond the pitch. 

It is said that the two have developed a close friendship, with the Englishman often taking on a mentoring role for the young striker. 

Amids the links with Lyon, the England international has been guiding him through the tougher weeks, reassuring him that his time would come, and on this night, it finally did.
