Ben Davies reaches 100 caps for Wales | OneFootball

Ben Davies has become the latest Welsh footballer to reach 100 international appearances.

The 32-year-old Tottenham defender reached the milestone in Monday night’s World Cup qualifier against Belgium in Cardiff, joining Gareth Bale (111), Chris Gunter (109) and Wayne Hennessey (109) in Wales’ 100-cap club.

Davies captained the side for the occasion, although Wales were beaten by Belgium.

Since making his debut in 2012, Davies has been a consistent presence in the national team, featuring in three major tournaments during one of the most successful periods in Wales’ football history.

He was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016, ending a 58-year wait for Wales to qualify for a major tournament and becoming the first British nation to reach the semi-finals of a major competition since 1996.
