Arsenal defender Ben White will miss the final three games of Arsenal's season and the World Cup after suffering an MCL injury according to reports.

White was substituted with just under a half hour gone in the game against West Ham United at the weekend with the Gunners. The England international clashed with Crys Summerville but his side eventually went on to win 1-0 in what could be a crucial step to the Premier League title.

However, according to a report by journalist Joshua Hall of The Sun, White will not be back until next season due a knee ligament injury.

That means the 28-year-old would miss the final two league games at home to Burnley and then away to Crystal Palace as well as the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on May 30th.

The injury also impacts Thomas Tuchel's World Cup preparations with White unlikely to return in time for this summer's tournament.

White has played 30 times for the Gunners in all competitions this season, chipping in with a single goal.
