Benedyczak strike lifts Kasımpaşa to 14th | OneFootball

Kasımpaşa beat Eyüpspor 1-0 at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadyumu to climb from 16th to 14th, while the visitors slipped from 15th to 16th.

Adrian Benedyczak broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute, finishing from the right side of the box after finding space inside the area.

Earlier, Cengiz Umut Meras struck the right post and Andreas Gianniotis saved smartly before the interval to preserve the lead.

After the restart, Eyüpspor introduced Mateusz Łęgowski and Angel Torres and pushed on, with Bedirhan Özyurt heading narrowly wide and Emre Akbaba missing from close range. Late on, substitute Jim Allevinah sent a header off target as Kasımpaşa held firm.

Kasımpaşa registered nine attempts, with two on target. Eyüpspor saw more of the ball at 55.3% and produced eight attempts but tested Gianniotis only once.
