Benfica announce Sporting derby sold out at Alvalade | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, tickets for Benfica’s league derby with Sporting are sold out.

The match is scheduled for Sunday 19 April at Estádio José Alvalade. It is round 30 of Liga Portugal Betclic, with kick-off at 18:00.

Despite the current standings, Benfica supporters still believe the team can finish strongly. The side are pressing Sporting for second place, which could bring Champions League qualification.

José Mourinho brought the squad back together on Tuesday 14 April after giving the players Monday off, following the 2-0 win over Nacional at Estádio da Luz.

That game also marked the returns of Leandro Barreiro and Fredrik Aursnes, two midfielders viewed as important to Mourinho’s plans, giving both minutes before the game.
