Benfica have about 190 million euros due from player transfers, a financial lift that could prove key to Marco Silva’s 2026/27 rebuild.

According to Glorioso 1904, the club’s half-year accounts show 133 million euros in long-term receivables and a further 57 million expected within the next 12 months. The sums increase liquidity and capacity to respond to market demands.

A significant share stems from recent business, with Orkun Kokçu and Florentino Luís together worth 49 million euros. Besiktas must pay 25 million for the Türkiye international, while Burnley are due to pay 24 million for the Benfica Campus graduate.

Further receipts are arriving from deals involving Enzo Fernández, Marcos Leonardo, Morato, Benjamín Rollheiser and Arthur Cabral. Offsetting this, Benfica still owe 20.25 million euros for Georgiy Sudakov and 12 million for Enzo Barrenechea, both tied to compulsory purchase clauses.

Economist and former Benfica supervisory board member Manuel Boto views these inflows as crucial in financial terms and stresses the importance of liquidity for day-to-day operations. He also urges tight management, noting current liabilities of 313 million euros against current assets of 121.6 million. Player sales remain central to the strategy, with income already booked from the departures of Gonçalo Oliveira and Sidny Cabral.
