According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica have been fined about €13,390 for supporter behaviour during the 4-1 victory over Moreirense, after the Portuguese Football Federation’s Disciplinary Council issued its latest sanctions list.

The decision was taken on Thursday, 30 April, nearly a week after the match at Estádio da Luz. It relates to pyrotechnics in the stands and a banner displayed by members of the No Name Boys.

The case cites a failure to ensure compliance with stadium access and spectator rules, including preventing the entry of pyrotechnic devices and oversized banners.

Of the total, about €5,740 concerns the banner shown in the South Stand during the game, an area typically occupied by the No Name Boys. The banner read "Não serás esquecido. Eterno Afonso", yet the club were fined for its display.

Having beaten Moreirense, Benfica are seeking to extend their good run and rely only on themselves to secure second place in Liga Portugal Betclic. They face Famalicão on Saturday, 2 May, with José Mourinho aiming to avoid any unwanted surprises against Hugo Oliveira’s side.
