Benfica interest in Sergio Arribas could hand Real Madrid €10m | OneFootball

Benfica’s pursuit of Almería playmaker Sergio Arribas could see Real Madrid bank about €10m, as they hold 50% of his economic rights. That figure would depend on a deal being agreed at the mooted price.

According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica have been tracking Arribas to strengthen their attack and could table an offer of around €20m.

Arribas joined Real Madrid from Leganés in 2012 and shone for their B team, but did not secure a regular first-team role. He moved to Almería in 2023 in a €6m deal.

In 2025/26 he made 47 appearances, scoring 26 goals and supplying six assists, enhancing his market value. The Spaniard is under contract with Almería until 2029.

Strong relations between Benfica and Almería, bolstered by the Darwin Núñez transfer, could smooth negotiations. Even so, the deal would be financially demanding, with Almería seeking a fee above that level.
