Benfica are tracking Chelsea winger Tyrique George, though the figures involved do not appeal to Rui Costa.

Record writes that Benfica have shown interest in the 19-year-old wide player, but they are unlikely to start talks due to Chelsea's high valuation, a stance similar to last summer. The club could instead explore a loan with an obligation to buy.

Because George is homegrown at Chelsea and born after 2005, such a deal would not count against a temporary loan slot under restrictions on English clubs loaning to foreign sides.

With one week remaining in the window, José Mourinho has indicated the squad remains open to arrivals and departures until the deadline. So far, Benfica have signed Sidny Cabral and Rafa Silva, with Leandro Santos the only exit.

This season for Chelsea, George is valued at 22 million euros and has made 11 competitive appearances, four in the Premier League, four in the Champions League and three in the League Cup. Across 492 minutes, he has three goals and one assist.
