Benfica introduce digital mechanism for members ahead of General Assembly | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica’s General Assembly board has launched a new digital mechanism that lets members send in questions ahead of two meetings scheduled for Saturday.

The system will be available in the members’ area, on the club’s official website and across its digital platforms, with dedicated forms for each meeting. It allows associates to pre-submit queries tied to the agenda, encouraging fuller participation and a more structured debate.

The morning session, from 09:00 at second call, is set to cover planning, management and an analysis of the season’s sporting results, with emphasis on evaluating team performance.

From 14:30, members will consider and vote on the budget and investment plan for the 2026/27 season.

The move is intended to deepen member involvement by complementing in-person attendance with prior contributions through the new digital channels.

Benfica approach the new campaign with renewed ambition, and Rui Costa has conveyed a message of confidence to members. In the budget proposal to be presented to the Assembly on 27 June, he states the club will continue to invest to maintain sporting competitiveness.
