According to O Jogo, Benfica have moved to the top of Brands Capital Sports' September valuation of I Liga sports companies, with an estimated average worth of 581.23 million euros. Sporting suffer a steep decline, while FC Porto record strong growth.

Benfica's assessment is almost flat versus April, up by 2.23 million euros, or 0.38 percent. The valuation range runs from 523.10 million to 639.35 million euros, derived from indicators such as brand strength, community size, commercial capacity, sporting assets, available financials and corporate structure.

FC Porto register one of the biggest gains, climbing from third to second after a 63.63 million euro increase, a 14.14 percent rise on April. Their average now stands at 513.63 million euros, within a band of 462.27 million to 565 million, with squad appreciation a notable driver alongside competitive, commercial and international dimensions.

Sporting are the main fallers, slipping from first to third with a new average estimate of 493.12 million euros. The drop is 119.88 million euros compared with April, a negative variation of 19.56 percent, with the current range between 443.81 million and 542.44 million.
